Marquees are a simple and effective way to create a new and temporary environment to hold an event, wedding hire, create temporary storage or a fully covered work environment for essential works.

There are several types of marquee:

1. Traditional:- These have several peaks, held up with central internal poles and have lots of guy ropes to restrain them.
2. Chinese Hat:- marquees which have a high peak, usually made from aluminium frame and are mainly clearpsan
3. Clearpsan Frame:- Aluminium frame marquee with no internal poles or need for guy ropes, most widely used for wedding hire.
4. Semi Permanent Structures:- Designed for temporary warehouse operations, heavy weight steel work
5. Multi Storey Units:- Sometimes referred to as "double deckers" these are most often seen at sporting events.

The smallest size of marquee is 3m x 3m (10ft x 10ft) and the largest one is over 70m wide and can stretch for hundreds of metres more than covering the average sized football pitch.
